WE ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE CHER WITH US
Hi! My name is Cher and I am the English Language Assistant here at Zurbaran. I am from Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. I am so happy to be here in Bilbao and in Zurbaran School until the end of May! Here at Zurbaran I help in various English classes (Infantil-6th Grade). My role is to offer my perspective as a native speaker as well as share the culture of my English-speaking country: the United States. I try to bring fun activities to practice the unit material, such as drawing dictation, games to practice descriptions and matching games to practice new vocabulary in groups. Additionally, I teach colloquial expressions and correct pronunciation so that the children learn "real-life" English. One project that I am very excited about is a letter exchange with sixth graders from Saline Middle School in Saline, Michigan, USA.
